Hello and WELCOME!
I am Flo and I feel honoured having you here!
This blog is my little bubble of joy shared in photos and words with you all, in hope that it will help mamas get through motherhood more confidently and get inspired on how to spend more quality time with children and family.
I am from Romania, but I live in the United Kingdom since 2015. Me and my husband met in UK, at the airport that year, and ever since we’ve been together, we have built a beautiful, strong family and we are grateful to God for blessing our home with our daughter, Arianna, that makes our life so much more beautiful.
I am currently working as a nurse and I absolutely enjoy my job, but it hasn’t always been so easy for me to figure it out what I like and want to do with my life. I studied Psychology and Nursing in the same time, and it was a completely chaos in my life while I was in school as I wanted to do them both, and felt like I am failing on both domains.
When I decided that I want to focus only on nursing and build a career, the decision of leaving Romania was the first one that crossed my mind, not because I don’t love my country, but because I wanted to learn new things and to open my eyes to new opportunities, and England offers a huge variety of options when it comes to nursing. Also, I wanted to confirm myself that I can start fresh on my own, that I am this independent woman I wanted for myself to believe I am, and because until then I was kind of dependent on my mom for money, I wanted to see if I can survive on my own. And I did!
Looking back, that was the craziest thing I’ve ever done, as I woke up one day and decided I’m going to UK, and next thing I knew I was on the plane towards a new adventure.
I live modestly and I like to try new DIY projects, and I really enjoy organizing! Unfortunately, staying organized at home it’s been quite a challenge as I don’t appear to be successful in it, but at least at work I am completely different.
My blog had a different mission when it was created, and that was to maintain my sanity during the hardest time of my life. Now, I write and share fun crafts I do with Arianna, activities meant to create memories and spend quality time with my family, parenting advice I wish I knew at the right time and tips on how NOT to forget to love myself!
The posts are written from my point of view and my experience, but are meant for mamas looking for ideas, just like myself, in the hope that they can inspire and share reassurance.
My blog it’s not perfect, but I am writing with my whole heart, and if you want to get to know me a bit better please subscribe to my email list to be informed when a new post will be available to read!
Thank you for reading this!
Have a great, productive day!
