Hello there, again! I am so proud of today’s project and so glad I finally got to post about it here.
When I was pregnant with Arianna I wanted to decorate the room with wall stickers with Disney characters, all the princesses, baby characters, anything cute. Unfortunately, could not say I found anything I really liked on the market, and I was very disappointed. One day, it struck me! I could make my own!
I was bored, so I started painting all the characters I liked, on normal A4 paper, cut around them and laminating them, cutting again around them, just leaving a 0.5cm edge to ensure the seal is maintained.
I preferred to add some tape on back of the stickers, so I can stick them where I want, but Blu Tack can also be used or other methods.
The results were brilliant, way better than what I expected, and I can always stick them to the walls or wardrobe, but also, that Arianna is a toddler now, sometimes she prefers to role play with them. The beauty of these stickers is that they are so much more durable and reusable.
You can paint the characters yourself, you can print and colour them or ask the kid to do it, or even you can print it already coloured. You can decide what characters you want, you can opt for children’s art characters as well, really, the options are unlimited, in order to obtain a personalised room.
We love these stickers and we are planning on doing some more, as they are not time consuming and they are gorgeous.
